Donald Trump has released his own set of NFTs, and it’s everything you could hope for.
The former President of the United States announced his release on Truth Social today The official digital trading card collection. The collection consists of 45,000 NFTs, all of which feature Trump in different guises—Superman, astronaut, sheriff, stockbroker, golfer, etc. In his post, the president mentioned that his fans and followers should watch each and every one of them. The cards are “like a baseball card, but more exciting.”
Trump’s NFTs can currently be purchased on his official website for just $99 each, though it shouldn’t be long before they pop up on secondary markets like Blur or OpenSea. The website makes it easy for non-crypto natives to buy digital cards—fans just need an email address and a credit card, and the site creates a crypto wallet for them. NFTs can be purchased using MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet and paid with wETH.
Purchasers of Trump NFTs will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes game where over a thousand prizes will be distributed. Rewards include dinner with Trump, cocktails with him at Mar-a-Lago, a one-on-one meeting, a chance to play golf with him, a Zoom call and hand-signed memorabilia. Also, collectors are guaranteed a ticket to a gala dinner with Trump in Florida if they buy 45 cards.
Trump fans also have the opportunity to enter the sweepstakes without purchasing trading cards.
