Swiss Re nominates candidates for the Board of Directors

Tischhauser served on the board of directors of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2016 to 2021. From 2015 to 2021, he also served as Global Head of BCG’s Insurance Practice. In that role, he tripled the company’s customer footprint with global and mid-sized insurers. Prior to that, Dishhauser led the global commercial insurance and reinsurance business in BCG’s insurance practice. He is responsible for the growth and development of the company’s insurance business in Switzerland and the UK.

Fassbind, who is not standing for re-election, is currently Swiss Re’s deputy chairman of the board and lead independent director. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee, a member of the Governance and Nomination Committee and the Compensation Committee. He has served on the board since 2011 and will complete his 12-year term at the 2023 AGM.

Wagner, who is stepping down, has served on the Swiss Re board for nine years. He is the Chairman of the Investment Committee and a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee. Wagner worked for several years in the finance and risk group.

Their guidance and managerial expertise will be sorely missed. We wish them all the best for their future.”

Swiss Re recently announced its Group Chief Investment Officer Guido Fuhrer Rest in March After 25 years in the company.
