Cryptocurrency guru Sam Bankman-Fried is in a lot of trouble following the collapse of his company FTX, and he’s not doing himself many favors. Reluctance to shut up against counsel’s advice has Law firms keep their distance. Still, Bankman-Fried, whose parents both work at Stanford Law School, understand the importance of lawyers.

But now, Stanford Daily reported SBF’s SLS parents are MIA from the upcoming schedule.

For Barbara Fried, this should come as no surprise. Fried already has emeritus status and no longer has to hold on to teaching. He told Stanford Daily that his decision to avoid teaching this session was “long-planned” and that he hopes to teach again in the future.

She probably couldn’t teach even if she wanted to. Joseph Bankman had a tax policy course this winter, but it was canceled. It’s not clear if it was the school’s decision or the professor’s, but it shouldn’t be a shock either way. With his son facing serious allegations that his multi-billion dollar empire rests on ever shaky foundations, it is hard to see how the professor can fully commit to serving the students.

Add parents to it A $16.4 million property purchased for them by FTX And “How do you report a multi-million dollar vacation home purchased with company funds?” Not going to make it to the finals.
