Jason Derulo Ahead of his big Super Bowl performance is a new challenge — no, not the Tik Tok challenge… He recently suffered a nasty injury and is now walking on a cane.
A source familiar with TMZ tells … the “Wiggle” singer was injured playing basketball 3 weeks ago. Apparently, he went up for a rebound and fell on someone’s leg and injured himself … now he has a small fracture in his leg and a torn ligament to boot.
He was lucky enough to avoid surgery, but he was given stem cell injections, which helped speed up his recovery time.
For now…Jason goes to physical therapy every day and gets around with the help of a cane.
Of course, this couldn’t be a worse time for Jason. ICYMI, he and The Black Keys were announced as the headliners of this year’s NFL TikTok Tailgate … which should go down before the big game.
Although he’s not fully recovered for the performance, our sources say he’ll power through it, come hell or high water.
