Brown & Riding has announced three new appointments in its casualty and property practice.
The firm has appointed Shani Marcus as senior vice president and casualty broker in its national casualty practice, and Ben Alexander and Terence Popler as vice presidents and property brokers in its national property practice.
Marcus specializes in construction, products and real estate.
“Shanny was motivated to join B%R because of our independent ownership structure. We are excited to welcome her to Brown & Riding,” said Michael Boseman, chief operating officer of Brown & Company.

Alexander and Poplar specialize in construction and coastal and inland habitat hazards.
“We are delighted to welcome both Ben and Terrence to Brown & Riding,” said Boseman. “Without a doubt, their experience and skill sets will be invaluable to the company, and our client partners will greatly benefit from their expertise in the residential space.”
